Very Helpful!:
I had a great experience with Good Neighbor. I have a 1997 Saturn 5-speed. It came to where it wasn't drivable because it would not shift. I got it to one auto shop and was told that the shifter cables needed to be replaced and that it would cost over $1000, which is way out of my budget. I called around to a few shops describing my problem and was told around the same pricing from each. When I called Good Neighbor they asked me to come in so they could take a look at it. After they checked it out, I was told that they would be able to repair the part instead of replacing it, which definitely cut the cost to a fraction of what it would have been if they were replaced. I was also fortunate enough to be offered a loan car to use so that I could get to work. I'm thankful for all the help I received and fortunate to happen upon such a good auto shop. I will definitely be back.

Thanks for the compliment!!:
My name is Todd Burr and I own what is now Hillsboro Village Auto Service. Fred is right, we do excellent work, have FREE loaner cars, have a standard 4 yr/48,000 mile warranty, A+ BBB rating, etc. I wouldn't say we are 30% higher. A couple of months ago we quoted out a timing belt job that was 20% lower than the dealer quote and our warranty is 3x's as long!! Find a shop that does great work, that is trustworthy, and treats you with respect---go to them for EVERYTHING!! Communication * Quality * Relationships

High Prices but great service:
They do very good work, but they seem to be 30% more than other car shops, but they offer free loaner cars and that can more than make up for the extra cost of the repairs and gas.
