Hinomaru Ramen

Had a wonderful Noodle Ramen lunch for Father's Day. Broth was rich and not salty, noodles were very tasty. A delightful mixture of flavors. Most clients were Japanese -always a good sign at a Japanese Restaurant.

Foodies find it "a huge relief to have a place like this in Astoria", where "ramen like it's meant to be" comes with "great toppings" and "delicious" Japanese appetizers, all at a "fair price"; the wooden bench–bedecked setting is bare-bones, while the atmosphere is "high energy", with lots of "happy people eating and drinking."
