Save yourself the aggravation.:
Having been a long-time customer I naturally called Hollywood Glass to replace some custom glass that broke. I called on a Monday for an appointment on Thursday afternoon. Took the afternoon off and waited for no one to show up or even call. The following Tuesday, I called back, received an apology with the excuse that they were understaffed and got an appointment for the next morning at 9am. The next day, I received a call at 8:45am to make sure I was home and was told they'd be there in 15 minutes. After 35 minutes, no one came so I called again and was told it would be at least an hour or two before anyone could come. I rescheduled for 2pm the same day. By 2:45 pm no one came or called so I called AGAIN. When I complained about the poor service the technician took MAJOR attitude and told me to take my business elsewhere. I called the main office and got more excuses and was put on hold 4 times before being promised someone would be there in 10 minutes max. When the tech arrived nearly 40 minutes later I sent him away and made an appointment with a competitor.
My bill was nearly $500 with Swartz Glass today. They were great, reasonable and showed up on time. Hollywood Glass doesn't seem to need or want your business.
