Home Away From Home Pet Spa

The only reason I gave one star is because that is the lowest rating available! Being relatively new to the area, I thought this facility was a good choice for a 12 day stay for my healthy JRT. I requested an indoor kennel after my tour of the place and was assured that my little guy would be indoors and away from the larger, constantly barking dogs.

12 days and 240.00 dollars later, I went to pick up my little guy and they brought him inside from the large, barking dog kennel. It was awful, my dog was filthy, he had obviously been stressed, he had diarrhea and his voice was strained from barking with the rest of the other poor dogs. I had to take my dog to the Vet for medication for the diarrhea.

we boarded our "healthy" dogs 10 days. Aug 2014. when we picked dogs up they were sneezing and coughing. We didn't know they had kennel cough until we took them to the Vet two days later. My wife called to let them know our dogs were sick and the kennel manager refused to talk over the phone but would only relay a message thru another employee...hmm sounds fishy to me. I believe they new they were sick and did not tell us. For $405.00 plus Vet cost it was expensive. Talked with the owner in which gave a response in which of coarse took all responsibility off them by telling us" its in the forms we signed." (very original) we will not go back. think twice before you sign the dotted line
