The Most Incompetent People in the Industry: Creative Blinds:
If you want to deal with the most incompetent people in the industry, hire Creative Blinds. First, we made an appointment with a sales person in the Katy Freeway location and he was a no show for our appointment. We decided to try the Kirby location. The manager was nice. She came out to our house and recommended Oakhurst Shutters. We ordered window treatments for our entire house from Creative Blinds, including Oakhurst’s custom plantation shutters.
A representative from Oakhurst came out to measure our windows so that they could custom make our shutters. When the shutters finally arrived, the majority of them did not fit our windows. We called the Creative Blinds manager. It took Creative Blinds weeks and multiple follow-up calls from our end to get back to us. Finally, the Vice President of the company, Joe, called us back. He set up a meeting with himself, the manager, an Oakhurst representative and us. On the day of the meeting, he called me to cancel. After much cajoling, the meeting occurred. A second installation date was scheduled.
Now, all of the shutters are in but they are not closing properly. Again, we contacted Joe and it has taken him weeks to get back to us. At this point, we do not want to schedule another appointment (seven in total) to fix the problems they caused.
Bottom line, my husband and I wasted a significant amount of time and money trying to work with this company. We have spent more than $11,000 with them. They do not understand customer service. When things go bad, you cannot count on them.
I have never written a review on any vendor. This company is the worst one I have ever worked with. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. You will be sorry.
