As a longtime sushi consumer, I cannot recommend Hon Sushi in Oceanside. The highlight of our meal was the Sashimi Salad with small chunks of fish in an excellent Asian citrus dressing. Conversely, the 20 piece Sashimi plate contained small pieces of very dry Tuna, Albacore, Salmon, Red Snapper and Yellowtail - not at all worth the price. The sushi pieces were small as well, rice was fine, but as with the Sashimi the fish was dry. The Octopus was extremely tough and finally the Fresh Water Eel roll contained one small piece and a chunk of avocado with lots and lots of rice. Not at all worth the price tag, we will not be back. Good Sake prices though.
