If you do business with these people you had better spell out every detail of the agreement. Make them explain everything. I thought that advertising and marketing and other acceptable and reasonable expenses would pertain to "advertising and marketing". Not so here. I paid $800.00 up front (my mistake) for this and it included, amoung other thing: Lunch for workers on catalog day ($57.09). Mileage ($8.21) Credit card fee (3%= $30.89) Office staff labor. After paying all of this, and more, they took 20% of gross. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. When it came to auctioning my house not one (zero) people showed up to bid. I was told that people don't buy houses in an election year. (HUH) After a week of waiting for them to convert from and auction to a real estate transaction my home still was an auction on MLS with a $0 (zero) price tag. Asked why they told me they couldn't figure out how to convert it on MLS. I cancelled the contract and was told that was OK because they were an auction house not a real estate company. In the beginning we were told that there would be RE agents "coming out of the wood work" if the house didn't sell at auction. Well that didn't work either. Please beware if you choose to use them.
