She Should Clean Up Her Business:
STRONGLY do not recommend using House Cleaning by Lolita.
My wife found a Groupon and decided to contact Lolita to make sure she serviced our area and mentioned the Groupon. Lolita stated she did service the area and would give us Groupon pricing.
The day before we were scheduled, I found out that I needed to go to work and asked my wife to reschedule. My wife called just after 12:30, we were scheduled for Noon the following day. Lolita stated there would be a $100 fee to cancel which was not made aware to us prior. She was unwilling to work with us regarding rescheduling or the cancellation fee and was somewhat rude to my wife regarding the entire situation. We asked her to work with us regarding the time as it would just be me moving the furniture by myself. My wife made her aware that I could come during the time at a great inconvenience to us and that she may have to wait while I move furniture by myself, which Lolita was with but expressed concern with the timing because of appointments after.
It was 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment the next day with no word from Lolita. It wasn't until my wife contacted her letting her know that I may need to return to work if she doesn't show, in which she responded she would be here shortly. She arrived, with no apology, stating she didn't want to wait while I moved furniture. I let her know I took off work early to accommodate her so she wouldn't have had to wait which could have been avoided if she just called to let us know. It wasn't till after that I realized she was stuck in traffic after she mentioned it.
Her services were average and nothing special. We've used other carpet cleaning services in the past and they were about in line with them.
I had to run and get cash as she finished, she asked if I knew the price, which was supposed to be $250. per Groupon pricing, but she decided to charge additional for the two other rooms which I thought were part of the price agreed on and she didn't say anything as we walked the house prior. Also to mention all the rooms only were partially done due to being unable to move all the furniture to accommodate her.
Overall, I would strongly not recommend using her services. Aside from her rude and unwillingness to work with us to reschedule, being late, average services, and increase of price last minute, there are much more professional companies, with better services and reasonable pricing.
