Courteous, On Time, & Professional:
I couldn't be more pleased with the treatment of my family and my belongings. Hoy Transfer's employees were efficient and treated my old and new home with care. All my belongings arrived as they left. Thank you for a great experience.

Worst moving experience EVER:
Missing items, damaged items...multiple glasses and plates shattered. The boxes were obviously not handled properly. One piece of furniture was a total loss. After filling out a claim form for the damaged items, we were informed that none of our things were covered by the insurance we paid for because we packed our own boxes. This was NEVER disclosed to us. In fact, we were told that we were "saving a couple thousand dollars by packing our own things". So we basically paid for insurance for nothing. Customer service after the move was horrible, and we were finally sent a letter and a check for $200...which doesn't come close to covering our damages. TERRIBLE.

HORRIBLE movers!!!!:
Let me urge you to keep looking if you want good movers. We incurred a few thousand dollars worth of damages & "missing" items in our move with Hoy Transfer. They were careless, lazy, and it made for a very stressful and upsetting move. Many things were damaged because of laziness - for example, tossing glass items or frames (unwrapped and not carefully placed at all) in only half-full boxes of books. What do you really expect to happen?? This was a very bad experience for us, and one that we hope we can help you avoid in the future if you were considering them for your move.
