I am unbelievably mad at this dealership. I was so excited to come to a small dealership, especially after the terrible experience I had at a larger dealership. My interaction with George was great & I loved the car, but that's where the good things ended.
After test driving the car, I asked what the total cost for the car would be, including taxes, fees, etc. I was led to believe that the fee wouldn't be much more than $8,000, which was what the price was online. So I only got a loan for $8,000. Then I got a contract sent to me by Kamron, the finance guy, the next day. There was an additional charge for about $300 for drawing up the papers and a $385 transportation fee. This, of course, drove up the taxes. In the end, it was $1,400 OVER. I went into to talk to Kamron and he said he could probably knock off the transportation fee.
I came back the next morning, because Kamron told me I could meet with the manager to talk about a trade-in and get the transportation fee knocked off. I took off 3 hours of work that morning (and I don't get PTO for it). I got there 30 minutes early and still never met the owner I was supposed to meet with. Kamron then told me that the transportation fee wouldn't be knocked off and that they'd only pay $500 for the trade in.
When I said I wanted to back out of the contract, due to their dishonesty and unwillingness to work with me, they then wouldn't return the $200 deposit that I put on the car.
I'm incredibly unhappy. The only person worth anything there is George, who has tried to help me the whole time. Besides that, don't waste your time or money.
