Bought a truck and 70 miles later the check engine light came on. Ended up taking the truck to the dealer and found out Independence Auto had put heavier oil in the engine to hide that it needed to be replaced. Talked to the salesman Moe and was told they would fix it. When I dropped the truck off two days after buying it he told me that before they would fix it but we needed to renegotiate the loan. Told them they could have the truck back if the original terms were not acceptable. He said that he could get the warranty company to pay for the engine even though it was bad at the time of the sale if I signed the new terms. When I refused he told me that they would finance the loan in house at the original terms and asked me to leave the property. Whoever was in charge (Gary?) came out and told me that the truck was going to be towed and that no repairs would be done unless I was willing to renegotiate. When I refused they threatened to call the cops. DON'T BUY A VEHICLE HERE!!!
