Many St. Louis neighborhoods have go-to Indian lunch buffets, but this destination restaurant stands above the rest --- literally, thanks to its 11th-floor location with unimpeded views of airplane traffic and, after dark, the sparkly lights of the nearby Boeing factory. The buffet offers a mid-size range of typical fare, but the dinner menu has plenty of depth. Raita is so good one is tempted...

Before my trip to India Palace, the only time I'd ever eaten Indian food was when some family friends cooked it for us. I really wanted my first Indian food restaurant experience to be a good one. After seeing the high overal marks on reader reviews, and reading this written review, I figured this would be as good a place as any to try. And I was right.
