Very Upset:
I had a very negative experience with a particular artist at this shop. I came in with a very specific design of a lotus flower I wanted tattooed on the back of my neck. Seven insisted on changing a few things in the design, so it would not look like other people's who may have that same design. I was fine with that, but anything I suggested he completely dismissed. Also, by the time it was done, it looked like a plain old generic lotus flower, nothing original about it! It looks nothing like the original design i brought in. He was pushy and arrogant, and I am mad at myself for not walking out instead of letting him tattoo me. The artwork is not bad at all, it is just absolutely not what i asked for. If you want any say in what your tattoo will look like, don't go to Seven.He doesn't seem to care what his customer is asking, only what he feels like doing.

The artists and the owner here are awesome!!!! They put a lot of pride in to their work and it shows!!!!...It is very hard to find the words to describe the skill that exists with in this place! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! REAL ART AT ITS FINEST!!!!!
Dont Be Fooled By The Glamour!:
Though this tattoo parlor looks all nice and pretty. You walk in you get wowed by the design that looks more like a hair saloon then a real tattoo parlor. The major concern that you should know about is that 4 people that i know have gotten infections from there. One pretty severe. Just because it looks clean doesn't mean that it is.
They have mediocre artists at best. They do not have an expert level artist to govern the staffs tattooing. Hence why level of work coming out of that shop is average at best. The owner Frank is not a tattoo artist. He has zero understanding of the tattoo world and just continues to throw money to cover his lack of understanding of the art, the culture, and the world that is tattooing.
Frank actually hires people to do public relations specifically because the artists work cannot speak for themselves. A true tattoo parlor and tattoo artist gets their reputation by the work they do.
Do not fall for the glamorous look and get a mediocre tattoo. Do you research on the type of tattoo you want and choose the right place for you. There are way better artists and shops around Staten Island.
