I've been working with this therapist since 2012. I am a very different person today from the way I was then. He empowered me by helping me to get control of my anger and substance use problem. He helped me to get into Law Enforcement and I still work with him today as I continue my education.

He's very abrupt, dismissive, insulting, and has anger issues. I stopped seeing him after 2 visits and left him a negative review on a different site. Within hours of posting my review, fake reviews which were very clearly written by Fischman started popping up claiming that the reviewers were patients in a group therapy led by him who saw me get dragged off his premises by police (yep, he actually wrote that) after I was "out of control" at a session and that everything I wrote should be ignored. None of that ever occurred; he maliciously lied. I had these reviews taken down as they were clearly fake and obviously defamatory, but I took screenshots first.He is now under investigation by the New York State Department of Education. Seeing Michael for quite some time. He has helped me enormously in all areas of my life. I can not recommend anyone more highly
