Bad Customer Service:
On 2/13/08, I purchased a pair of earrings with a matching necklace at J. Dew Collection located at 2700 Colorado Blvd, Glendale, CA. I fell in love with the matching earrings and necklace the moment I saw it and I wore it the next day for my very special event on Valentines Day. When I got home from my dinner date with my husband, I removed my necklace and I noticed that 2 of the cubic zirconia stones were missing. I was obviously so disappointed as I love the settings and style of my new matching jewelry.

On 2/18/08 at around 6PM, my husband and I went back to the store to EXCHANGE the necklace along with my receipt and explained to the store manager by the name of June what had happened. I was told that all sales are final and there are no returns or exchanges. She also added that they don’t know if I abused the jewelry. I was so dumb founded with the response I was given. I asked her if she believes that if it’s my fault for loosing the stones simply by wearing the jewelry. Then I tried to explain to her that if she were in my position, would she be upset of the whole situation. But at this point, another sales clerk interrupted and started talking out loud with some hand gesture telling me that I should have checked the jewelries before I purchased it. I told her that I did and thought that the jewelries were fine. My husband who was observing on the side got furious to what he was seeing and told the sales clerk that she should not be talking to customers like that. The sales clerk started talking in a despicable way saying come-on, come-on with some hand gesture going up in the air telling me to fight with her, then she started waving her middle finger up in the air while several by standers witness her actions. In my defense, I went up to her and told her to feel free to hit me, while at this point, the store manager and another gentlemen approached, held her and pulled her to the side.

I was in shock, my heart was beating fast, breathless and speechless as my husband and I walked out of the store while (several bystanders watched) the sales clerk waving her middle finger up in the air at us.

I am so disgusted with the bad customer service that I experienced and suffered at this store. I cannot believe that a prestigious company would hire such an undisciplined worker to represent their company.
