Don't doDon't do business with JR Fencing. The owner Ruben is a con. First, he seems to be a nice person’ he told me to pay him when the job will be finished. He sends one another contractor to do the job, on the second day they were missing two bars that reinforce the fencing panel. Ruben didn’t come home, he called me and told me to give the check to his guy ( $5,500) ( March 13th, 2019) and he reassures me about the two bars. They will be installed tomorrow morning. Two days after I called him, He told me to be patient, he will send someone to finish the job. On March 20th, I tried to call him, but he starts to do not answer my calls. I left him a voicemail telling him to finish the job or I'll put a complaint against him. He didn’t bother to call me back. I call my bank to cancel the check, they told me it’s too late, the check was cashed the day where he got it!. I have to live with that, Think twice before doing a mistake! business with JR Fencing. Ruben showed up to my house after agreeing to a set price. He took down my existing fence (I'm located on a main road) and then proceeded to tell me he needed to charge me more money.

When I disagreed he packed up his truck and left our yard completely open, subject to violations, and safety hazards, because I have a pool in my yard.

There was no change to the scope of service that we agreed upon, just your typical bait and switch pricing tactic, some contractors play. Reuben is a dishonest crook.
