Editorial Reviews

Jacques-Imo's Cafe Restaurant Review:
Jacques-Imo’s is an unpretentious, old neighborhood joint that somehow manages to attract hordes of tourists, even though it is not located in a tourist-heavy area. Chef/owner Jacques Leonardi runs this energetic asylum as an extension of his eccentric personality. The Cajun chow is tasty as hell, adventurous, plentiful and gives good bang for the cuisine buck. The décor is swamp garish, with Mardi Gras beads and Christmas lights festooned throughout. Reservations are taken only for parties of five or more, so prepare to wait at the nearby Maple Leaf bar.
