These owners are sly and deceitful, and after you sign the lease, they don't return calls and refuse to sign further documentation of any sort, even if changes are made to the original contract. Both the owners say they have taken note of such changes and therefore the verbal agreement is sufficient and acceptable to them. Even when I gave them 6 weeks notice, Mary Ann stated that verbal notification was good enough, yet she refuses to return my security deposit of $600 ($11 more than the signed lease agreement security deposit of $589.00, which they refused to change on my contract) because I did not give notice in writing, as per #15 in the lease agreement. And of course, she denies any verbal agreement made. And they kept the full $600, didn't even return the extra $11.00 that I had paid)

This seems to be Mr. & Mrs. Conti's modus operandi. They will take advantage of their tenants if given the slightest opportunity. Dishonest, unscrupulous owners - stay away from them!!
