JB Homes customer. Bought the house from them.:
We recently bought a house from the JB Homes. Before we started the process the company representative told us that they will contact us and give us the choice of color shemes for the house exterior - never happened and they painted the house the color our family absolutely hates. We told the company representative that we would like to talk to the project manager, but we were totaly ignored and no one even attemted to contact us. The representative in the open house kept saying that the owner refuses to fix the problem. We asked to speak to that person - never happened. No keys were handed to us after closing and I had to change locks myself. Workers came two days later to change the keys, but not as promissed and it was to late. No weatherstrips on doors. Contacted the representative again and got the message that someone will call us, come and install the weatherstirps - never happened. Missing two cabinets in master bathroom. Some one came, brought doors, but other hardware was lost in the process - promissed to comeback - still waiting. Wanted to ask some questions regarding landscaping - being ignored again, no contacts. No one came and explained what equipment the house has: heather, boiler, sprinkle system, etc. Had to figure out myself. We like the house and everything about it except color and the company ignorance and the ignorance makes us made as not anything elsce. We have never experienced anything like this in our lives. Make sure you get all your questions answered before starting bussiness with these guys and get all the promisses in writing as they will deny all their promisses later. Terrible terrible terrible experience. Don't wish you the same. Be smarter than us. Do your homework.
