Never Again!:
After paying $4200 for a "brand new engine" some of the parts were used from the previous motor. After 8 months of waiting (3months of being fully paid) for the build i pulled the bug from their shop as i felt i was paying for their education after i finally got the engine going nuts and bolts inside the engine weren't tightened so in the end a new crankshaft and flywheel ($750) needed compliments of Jims Bug Center a place who don't have a clue what they're doing and if they did... then they set it up for future repairs, which i'll never go back there again!

Rip off:
I had my daughters vw rebuilt by Jim. I sounds terrible and burns oil. 3600.00 plus I supplied parts. I asked for restitution and have been put off. Been back several times and it has not been resolved. My worst auto repair experinece in my life. I will now have to have the job done all over. Not at jims rip service.

Small family run business:
I've had my car in at Jim's a number of times and have been treated fairly and quickly every time. I would recommend Jim's Bug Center to anyone who has a Volkswagon in the Waukesha area in need of repair.
