J.O. Williams has been licensed in the State of Oklahoma since 1979.
He served two terms as president of the Oklahoma Polygraph Examiners Association (an affiliate of the American Polygraph Examiners Association), then was appointed by Governor George Nigh, on March 1, 1983, to the Oklahoma Polygraph Examiners Board for a six-year term. He has served each of the five succeeding Governors between 1983 and 2004, longer than anyone in the history of the Board, as a Boardmember, Secretary, Vice-Chairman and Chairman.
He holds Oklahoma License #028.
J.O. Williams has been involved in law enforcement from 1970 to 2004, owned a private investigation and security company, served as a deputy sheriff, uniformed police officer, supervisor, narcotics investigator and interim police chief during the transition period as Rogers University became Oklahoma State University-Tulsa.
Since 1995, he has been in the most rewarding and satisfying service of his lifetime, as Pastor of Bellaire Assembly in Tulsa, OK. His experience as a Pastor/Polygraph Examiner has enabled him to bring new meaning to the scripture verse:
"Ye shall know THE TRUTH and THE TRUTH shall make you free!"
