Joya Restaurant Review:
This Cobble Hill eatery serves up tasty Thai to a flock of faithful. And best of all, it's hard to find anything on the menu over $12. Start with fresh Thai summer rolls with a sweet tamarind sauce. Follow them with noodle dishes, curries, and entrées of sautéed squid, shrimp, pork and beef with the usual assortment of broccoli, carrots and egg. Joya has a Park Slope sister restaurant, Song.

Scenes don't get much more "boisterous" or "fun" than at this Cobble Hill Thai where a mix of "awesome" food, "cheap" tabs and "sleek" design attracts "young, hip" throngs; "dance-club" acoustics send regulars to the "more peaceful" back garden, but there's no sidestepping the "so-so service" and "cash-only" rule.
The Scene
Concrete floors, dark steel accents, and dim lighting give this large room a hip, industrial flavor. The hard surfaces, reflecting the cries of the boisterous, young local dinner crowd, can make it quite noisy, but…
