Do not go here!!!:
My husband went here a couple of times for pant hems so when our daughter needed alterations on her wedding dress he told me the woman who ran this business was nice. She had my daughters gown for a week and had 4 things to do on it. Replace a hook, take it in on the sides, hem it and put a bustle on that would attach to the back. When we went to pick it up, not only was the dress now to tight..she took it in on the back of the dress across each side of the organza pleats, next to the decorative buttons, ruining the whole look of the back. She never put the hook on, never attached the bustle either. When I pointed all out to her, she got very snotty with me and said "Well, the hook is a 2minute job, and I did the bustle", And I watch her reach down, reach thru and pull thru a loop she had attached and then hand it to my daughter. I told her No..she wanted it attached, we told you this. So she grabs it out of her hand and attaches it to one of the dresses buttons. SERIOUSLY??!! I should of left then and there but I am too nice of a person. We spent over two hours there watching her take out back seams and try to redo in the front sides of the bodice which made my daughter look like she had side boobs...long story short, she finally made it look acceptable enough but had to hand tack every organza layer down to make it look okay. I still do not understand why she could not take her bodice in the side seams as she had previously shown us. And my big problem was that when she felt she could not do this, she should have called me to let me know that she was going to take it in up the back thus changing the whole way the dress looked. It was a mess. Thankfully when she took those seams out there was not very many visible holes. After all that stress and two and a half hours later I packed her dress up and brought everything to my car with no intentions of paying her and assumed my Husband understood this as well. Obviously not. He came out and told me that not only did he pay her he paid her the full amount she quoated us. I called her this morning telling her how unhappy I was with her service hand how I had no intention of paying her and that my Husband should not have done so, and that she clearly had no conscience taking the money. She agreed with me!! And then proceeded to hung up on me.! I will be putting a stop to the check that my Husband so stupidly wroted her, and he never should have. She did not deserve it. Think twice please...before going the this place of business!!
