DO NOT USE THIS GUY. Doug Patterson ripped my parents off. I cannot believe the problems that this air conditioning and heating system that he installed for my parents has caused. My parents purchased an American Standard system from Dog (That is what your first name should be Douglas because you took a big old dog dookey on my mother and father!) My parents purchased this American Standard ac and heat system about five years ago. 1. Right after the initial work on putting in the new system, water leaker all over the ceiling and floor. Doug did not clean out the drain wast line that the inside system connected to. My parents paid to have the ceiling repaired. 2. The system has always sounded like a freight train. Doug did not make the correct air piping connections. My father had a friend who made the correct air piping connections. 3. The master circuit board on the inside system and outside system were both replaced. 4. The fans on the inside system and outside systems were both replaced. My parents change the filters every 6 months, and my dad cleaned the outside system every 6 or so months. They did all the maintenance things that American Standard recommends and what Doug recommended. 5. The indoor systems inside system coil leaked after the 3rd year. I had a friend of mine test the Freon and oil from the entire inside and outside system. My father and I also asked the friend, who made the correct piping connections, to check the Freon and oil. It was found to be dirty and was comprised of a contaminated mixture. We learned that Douglas never cleaned up the inside system and outside system plumbing pipes. He was suppose to use some type of pumping filters on the system plumbing pipes. 6. The outside system pump has now failed. My parents now have to pay to have that pump replaced. The American Standard warranty information was never turned in. Doug was suppose to have gotten my parents an extended American Standard parts warranty. It was stated in his sales paper work for the initial sale of the American Standard system to my parents. My mother and father now have to pay almost $ 1,200.00 for a new pump. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU NOT HIRE THIS GUY. HE IS A SCAM ARTIST AND A LIER. John Post.
