Know Before You Go: The merchandise mix changes daily. If you see something you like, scoop it up on the spot. Chances are it won't be there ifyou return another day.

Yesterday I sent an email to Karen's Consignment Gallery inquiring about consigning furniture that I have in storage in San Diego. I explained that I am currently living in DC and only had one picture available, however assured them that the antique furniture was well cared for. The response I received this morning was the most unprofessional email I have ever encountered: "I can't see anything except the arm and back of the chair. There is a sliver of a table...but much too little for me to know the style. Since we cannot see the items and we are pretty picky, I would suggest you try consignment classics. They will say yes to anything.". Not an offer or suggestion on how to work something out, just a direct referral to another store.

I suggest we all take Gloria Roma's advice and go to Consignment Classics.
