This old tavern rocks with local music on Tuesday through Saturday. Musicians play on the second floor, making a nice background for diners on the first floor and terrace.
Built in 1864, this old tavern by the railroad tracks once saw the likes of Al Capone and Wild Bill Hickok. Kelly's may still draw a few characters, but now they're coming for dinner washed down by a cold brew. Located right on Delaware Avenue, it's a good stop on your way to Brandywine Valley attractions. Kelly's Logan House, the oldest Irish Bar in Delaware, has enjoyed being the center of the Forty Acres, (now Trolley Square) since 1864. A National Historic Site, it has been the hub for St. Patrick's Day for close to 150 years. Kelly’s Logan House presently offers tavern, dining and banquet facilities, as well as live entertainment.
