great family dentist:
I Have been going here for a few years and have had my occasional fillings done. I was happy with the work and billing process. But what really got me was when I took my little girl in for her first appointment. We saw the hygienist first and made everything fun and explained everything to Sarah so she could understand. When Sarah was given her exam, Dr. Minasian noted a couple of "sugar bugs" on her teeth. This didn't make me happy because I never liked going to the dentist and I was afraid my daughter would now have the same fear. Boy was I wrong. While Sarah was busy picking out her prize, the office staff gave me pointers about what words to avoid like getting a shot. They helped pick a good time of day for Sarah and how important it was to put my fears a side. Her appointment day came and she was ready, she jumped in the big chair like a pro. The dentist and assistant explained what they would be doing and how Sarah could get her to stop at any point by raising her hand. They even put cartoons on for her. She was the biggest four year old I ever saw that day and when her appointment was done she got out of the chair thanked Dr. M and his assistant and ran for the prize box.

Stay Away- Bad Business Practices!!!:
I have had the worst experience possible with this dental office. My first time going there was at the start of 2010. The dental hygienist Angela, is very kind and gentle. That is the positive about this place and now let me tell you about the negative. The woman behind the front desk is all about her. She is on a complete power trip because her husband is the dentist. During my first visit as I waited in the waiting room to fill out my papers, I had to listen to her tell another patient about how she has her man satisfied because of her large breast. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and pretended that I didn't hear the unprofessionism that was coming out of her mouth. If it wasn't for her bleached white teeth, she would really have a filthy mouth. I have Delta Dental and I pay out of my ears for the top plan that they offer. After the first visit, the dental office sent me the bill and also sent my insurance company a bill. I am sure some patients just assume that there is a cost involved and pay the extra amount, but I decided to call my dentist and try to figure out why they were charging me. She said that they billed it out to my insurance and didn't get paid. After several different excuses and listening to the wife talk in circles, I was on to what they were trying to pull. I then had to personally call Delta Dental and conference them on the phone to get this cleared up. During my first visit I gave the wife a copy of my card that she made a copy of in front of me. Her final excuse was that she was billing it to the wrong Delta Dental because I failed to give her a copy of my card-BS! Like I said, I have a great dental plan. I get upto 4 cleanings a year and it allows me to be seen by the dentist for a "Dental Evaluation" twice a year. I have now been to them three times and have been seen once by the dentist and the other two times I have been seen exclusively by the hygienist Angela for cleanings. I just recently after my third visit received a bill from my dentist for the amount of $45. I spoke with them on the 21st of September and they said they made a mistake and will write off the amount. I asked for more details on the mistake and they got very upset with me and put me on hold. Luckily, I was about a mile from their office and stopped by to pay them a visit. The wife became very distressed with me stopping by and made comments like, "where you waiting on our front porch." This woman is so unprofessional it isn't even funny. She would not give me a straight answer on the over charge. Finally, I told her that I called the insurance company and that they now been billed for 3 dental evaluations and my plan only pays for 2. I have only had 1! She said, well what's the big deal, we are crediting your account? This means that not only have they tried once again to collect additional money from me but they have also already collected additional money from my insurance company. I told her I wanted to cancel my next appointment, and she said that she had already done so. Also, during my second visit, the hygienist told me I had 2 cavities that needed to be filled. I have never had a cavity in my 33 years of life! When I questioned her, she said well just sign this form denying treatment. I signed the form and I could tell she was concerned that I was going to take my business elsewhere. The next time 3 months later, she said I no longer had cavities. When I questioned her, she said that her laser was just recalibrated and it looks like I should just keep and eye on them and I no longer need treatment. NOW AFTER MY MOST RECENT BILLING ISSUE IT IS CLEAR WHAT THESE PEOPLE ARE ALL ABOUT. THEY PROVIDE DENTAL CARE AND TRY TO DRAIN AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE OUT OF BOTH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES AND THE CUSTOMERS. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER REVIEWS ONLINE FROM FORMER CUSTOMERS OF THEIRS THAT HAVE THE SAME TYPE OF STORIES. I AM GOING TO CONTACT MY INSURANCE COMPANY DIRECTLY TO SEE IF THEY CAN TAKE THEM OFF THEIR REFERRAL LIST. I AM ALSO GOING TO WRITE TO THE DENTAL INSURANCE BOARD OF NEW HAMPSHIRE AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. THIS IS A FORM OF INSURANCE FRAUD AND ALL PARTIES INVOLVED IN THEIR BUSINESS ASSOCIATON NEEDS TO KNOW HOW THEY TRULY OPERATE!
