My car's A/C was not working. They determined the condenser needed replacement. The service manager said they didn't have the manufacturer's part (and it wouldn't arrive for a couple days), but they could get an after-marker one, and I'd get a deal on the price. He said it would be $700 for everything. I couldn't wait there, so they brought me home. I went online to check prices for condensers - most were about $100. When I got back to pick-up the car (about 4pm), all the service managers were gone. The bill was $789 + tax. No one would answer my questions, everyone just played dumb. They just wanted my credit card. I later contacted them twice to let them know how upset and dissatisfied I was, and got no response. I asked for a reduction in the condenser (they charged me 459 for the part, and 330 labor; I asked to reduce the part to 300 -- still 3-times more than I could get it). No response. My advice is: PLEASE, NEVER get your car serviced here. Let them diagnose it -- they do that part fine, but just say "no thanks" to their service and run out of there. I found out later from my wife (after she started speaking to me again) that our friends had same problem and was fixed for 300-hundred something, including a new part.
