Kimura

Kimura is a Japanese Ramen shop. During lunchtime, we are more of a traditional ramen-ya, or noodle shop. In the afternoon/evening/night, Kimura is an izakaya, a cocktail bar with small plates, sushi and other dishes in addition to the ramen.

The concept of Kimura comes out of the real world experience of its owners Michael Sohocki (founder/owner of Restaurant Gwendolyn) and Jenn Wade. Each of them has a deep connection to Japanese culture. Chef Michael lived in Japan for many years and Jenn is half Japanese. As Restaurant Gwendolyn is named for Chef's grandmother, we continue the theme of honoring our most important family...

Kimura is a Japanese noodle house which will also serves beer & wine. It is located on the corner of Pecan Street and St. Mary's Street.

We are closed from 2 pm to 5 pm Monday thru Friday.
