Kindergarten program not recognized by the State:
We had to withdraw our daughter from the kindergarten program, because it is not recognized by the State and it has been offered for only two years. Before enrolling our daughter in the program, the director told us she had offered the program for many years, and it was recognized and accredited by the State of Illinois. We had encountered a lot of problems with the teacher. She did not answer our emails, our phone calls or did not give feedback about her tests, her activities. The teacher was not communicative. She only gave us a newsletter but general, there are no tips to teach sight words for students who learn differently. There is no individual communication between parents and the teacher. Besides, the director told us she would prepare our daughter for the first grade readiness test, the teacher would help her. she knew the test in our public school. It was not truth. We learned the teacher did not know at all and did not give any tests to practice. We asked her many times, but she ignored us. Indeed she had no clues about the test. We paid a lot of money on this non accredited program and did not meet the students' learning styles and multiple intelligences. I do not recommend this non accredited program, it is expensive. Because of lack of communication, lack of diversity and lack of code ethics, our daughter failed the first grade readiness test. She was not prepared. It is better to find an accredited program and a teacher who cares about students and parents. We had spent about 1400 dollars per month and it was a very frustrating and stressful experience that we had endured. Do not be fool like us and save money. stay away from this non accredited program, not recognized by the State of Illinois. The teacher is not communicative and the director was not affected when she learned that our daughter failed the test and repeated kindergarten. She compared her with other classmates and asked me for the check! Awful, stressful experience. We had lost a lot of money , again this kindergarten is not accredited and recognized by the State of Illinois.
