Chef Kiran Verma, considered the ‘godmother of Indian fine dining,’ has created world-class north Indian cuisine at her eponymous restaurant, which will be re-opening at its new location in Upper Kirby in January 2017.

When to Go: Kiran's is one of the few places in town to experience a traditional high tea the second Saturday of every month from 3pm-5pm.

What to Drink: The restaurant's wine cellar has more than 300 selections available and the staff is happy to make a recommendation based on your meal.

Service was exceptional. In my opinion this is one of the best restaurants I have been to. Chicken and lamb kebabs are a stand out. The mint lemonade is great, and they have good lunch specials here too.
