The 1,400 seat theatre opened in 1940, built from funds willed to the City by Bridgeport resident Jacob Klein. This grand restored 1,400-seat Art Deco theatre with marble floors, exquisite chandeliers and Greek pillars features an A-list of entertainment that includes musicals, theatrical performances, and concerts.
The Klein Memorial Auditorium is Fairfield Theatre Company's beautifully restored 1,400 seat art deco theater. The Klein hosts classical, jazz, swing, pop, choral and operatic presentations. It is home to the Greater Bridgeport Symphony, the Connecticut Grand Opera and the Connecticut Ballet Theater.
