Kobe Hibachi & Sushi

I have been twice a week for a month. At times the service has been a little slow due to the fact that I am there as they are opening up and am the first one there (can't expect them to bring a chef out for just one or two people)... Anyway the food is great and most of the time the place is crowded. The first poster must have been when they first opened and were getting established in a routine. Emily I hope you try it again before you totally give up on it. We are hooked. We always go for lunch and have the steak and shrimp. The amount of food you get is a lot and the price is around $12.

I have eaten there twice (did want to give it a second chance). The first time I had hibachi and a sushi roll. The hibachi was very slow, long waiting time for the chef to even arrive. The hibachi was decent, 6/10 compared to other places I have been. The sushi roll was decent, but the vegetables were not the freshest. The second time I visited Kobe we had sushi. I ordered soup and salad with mine. My soup never came and still did not come after I reminded the waitress. The refills were not timely for our drinks. The sticky rice in the sushi roll was slightly old tasting and was kinda mushy. I will not be returning to Kobe again.
