Walk into an unassuming veterinary clinic, greeted by efficient and pleasant staff. Promptness in addressing concerns and getting you into an exam room is the norm. Everyone is pleasant and considerate, but my primary experience is with Dr. Zeigler. She is informal, personable, and beams with a genuine smile most any time I've seen her. I brought my three dogs to see her; two are easy to work with (loving her from the start), but one gets anxious and snippy at times (I can't deal with her at those times). Everyone cared for all three with the utmost consideration.
Unfortunately, my two nine year olds passed this last year (due to a very rare, aggressive cancer, and the other due to yet unknown infection?). Some things are out of anyone's control, but everyone at SPAH did everything possible. Dr. Zeigler gave us extra time with both our loved pups, keeping them as comfortable and pain free as possible. Dr. Ziegler would not allow them to suffer, nor would she just give up. She gave us more than skill and knowledge; she gave us hope, support, and comfort. My husband and I received more heartfelt empathy and concern from Dr. Ziegler and everyone at SPAH than our own families. Their prices are more than reasonable, but you get something so much more valuable in the end.
