Since 1937, our K&W family has served homestyle Southern comfort food, made from scratch and served with genuine hospitality. All without charging an arm and a leg. Now, over 80 years later, folks are still lining up for a taste of home. At K&W, customers can pick and choose their favorite made-from-scratch dishes and enjoy great company in a traditional cafeteria environment.

K&W Cafeterias is a family-owned restaurant that serves more than 100 food items, such as sausage patties, pancakes, waffles, muffins, oatmeal, cheese grits, stewed apples, eggs and assorted breads. The restaurant also offers special meals for children that include chopped steaks, chicken fingers, spaghetti and baked beef macaroni. At K&W Cafeterias, we've been serving fresh, made-from-scratch foods for over 70 years! What began in Winston-Salem, NC as a small restaurant/cafeteria combination has grown into over 30 cafeterias throughout NC, SC, VA, and WV. Our founder, Grady T. Allred, Sr., built this business on one basic philosophy, ... good food at a reasonable price is never out of style.
