Quality company, beautiful deck:
(The George Family). We hired KBI in November of 2018 to replace our 25 year old wooden deck (at Oakland Township). We had many builders in and out for bids, they either were no show or simply not up to the task. Kyle builders are probably the most communicating company that I have met in Michigan. My wife & I are retired and have lived in many Countries around the world because of my job and had contractors but none was as efficient in communications as Kyle builders. I want to break down their strengths and how they deserve my 5 star rating:
1) Communications: They meet on weekly basis and email the schedule plus they are available on the phone if you need further clarifications. Kyle is an early riser and you will get his emails by 5 AM or even earlier
2) Very punctual and stick to their schedule unless weather is a detriment to the quality
3) Their work quality is excellent and their subs are well vetted. KBI always has a supervisor check the work of their concrete, brick steel etc.
4) They simplify the project financially by dividing it on stages and respective stage payment. They finish a stage, you pay them but they ask you to check the work first before you pay
5) They clean up after the project and are willing to do their best to make you satisfied.
I am glad I chose these builders, I am very happy with the quality of work and the quality & courtesy of KBI supervisors and workers (owners are included in this compliment).
In all I highly recommend them and I just chose them to do two more projects for us in Oakland Township, Michigan. Do not hesitate.

Do not hire this company!:
We had our $50,000 brick deck completed in August of 2012 and now bricks are falling from the top and almost injured my daughter! I called Kyle Builders and spoke with Jeff, as this is a HUGE SAFETY ISSUE and I got: "We are sorry but your deck is out of warranty and we only guarantee our work for one year." you will pay thousands and it will fall apart a few years later, BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY! Their slogan is: "You trust us, the professionals and we don't take advantage of that trust. Instead we take it very seriously and are humbled." You take nothing seriously, good luck people.
