Horrible, rude, dirty and over priced.:
I stumbled upon this store while I was looking for the Maui Bead Shop. I noticed a Buddha in the window and thought that this could be a great little find. Boy was I wrong. While pulling up to the front entrance I noticed the awful awning (it reads Premiere Video with some sort of paint over it as if this makes it look any better). When I walked into the store I was greeted by a lady named Patricia. At first she seemed like a nice lady however the longer I browsed through the store the more she started rubbing me the wrong way. She was on the phone when I walked in (I thought this was fine at first) and didn't get off the phone for at least fifteen minutes after me entering. She was trying to talk to me while being on the phone at the same time which was confusing. I told her I just wanted to browse around however while walking around the store I couldn't help but over hear the conversation she was having. Whomever she was talking to on the phone was getting an earful. The way she was speaking to the other person on the line (I am not sure who she was speaking to) made me feel horrible. She was acting completely disrespectful and degrading. This immediately made me uncomfortable. After she got off the phone she had introduced herself to me. I was asking her about an end table in the store and she seemed completely scatter brained and unorganized. First she told me the price of the item was $299, and then she proceeded to say however she could give me a deal for $250 and apparently when I wasn't showing enough interest she told me she could sell the end table for $199. This may seem like she was giving me a deal, however I had seen the VERY EXACT same end table BRAND NEW at Ross for only $79!! In fact, there were many of items that I have seen at various shops on island (Indo Lotus Imports, First Impressions, Minds Eye, BJ's, etc) and they were all being sold for outrageous amounts of money. This store is a second hand store yet its prices are higher than that brand new. I had expressed to her that I had seen some of these items for cheaper elsewhere and she was extremely rude and snappy. In fact, come to find out this woman was the store owner! The store not only looked in disarray but so did the store owner, Patricia. She could not seem to focus on a conversation and I found myself completely confused and baffled by what she was saying. The whole experience left me wondering what was really going on in this place. Some of the ceiling was peeling off the wall and the whole store was a huge distorted mess. It actually reminded me of an episode of hoarders. I was so appalled how I was treated, the exuberantly priced USED items, the condition of the store and merchandise that I had told my friend whom I had lunch with later on in the day about my experience. Irony would have it that she also had a horrible experience with this lady Patricia as well. My friend had consigned a number of items at this shop and it took her months to receive her pay for those items. She said she practically had to come into the shop every single day and harass the poor salesman that usually works there. Her items had sold months prior and she was supposed to be paid the following month however she heard one excuse after the next. Finally after threatening to take her to court she finally got her check for her pieces that sold four months prior!!

All and all I would I can safely say anyone and everyone should stay away from this shop, buyer or consigner. I just happened to wander into this store and spend less than 30 minutes inside and (as a business owner myself) could tell that this was just the tip of the iceberg. If I had seen this in the short amount of time I was there I can only imagine what lies beneath the surface.
