Jacqueline opened La Poubelle in 1969 based on a childhood dream of having a creperie in America. With humble beginnings, a small kitchen where the bar now resides, 35 crepes and 15 omelets were served to the music of Edith Piaf. Established in 1973, La Poubelle is a family owned French bistro in the heart of Hollywood, serving filet mignon, crepes, fresh seafood, and traditional bistro fare. We have a full bar that is opened every night till 2am, and a full dinner menu served till midnight daily.
