archaic and sneaky return policy:
Saturday June 6th I was in your Palmer Square location and purchased 130.00 worth of items.

Monday June 8th I went to return those items at your Peddlers Village location.

It was at that time that I was informed in a condescending manor your return policy.

The employee first said in a condescending tone, " you mean a store credit"

When I told her no, for a refund, she pointed to a little sign tucked behind a perfume display stating your return policy.

I told her that when I was at the Palmer Square location I did not see any sign nor did anyone tell me the return policy verbally even though the sales women worked with me for over a half hour and I mentioned a few times that I was going to return which ever garment didn't work with the dress.

The employee then pointed to the receipt . At this point I am not only feeling duped and gross, but now angry because of her tone, pointing, and unprofessional manor.

I told her, I get that receipt after I have made the purchase. So on top of the sign I didn't see on the counter (not even sure if Palmer Square location has a sign like the Peddlers Village location), a receipt informing me after the purchase, None of these are productive or honorable ways to inform the customer.

After asking 3 times for my items back, I reached over the counter gathered my items and walked out letting them know that this return policy is ARCHAIC to say the least as well as completely gross to the customer. I told her that having such an UNUSUAL and archaic policy constitutes a verbal communication when one is paying. It is sneaky to have a sign tucked and or among other items on a counter.

I will not ever go back to your store for the sheer fact that you have such archaic policies. I will not go back to your store because of the tone of your employees in informing the customer. It is sneaky, and wrong. I will also not go back because I reached out to the stores, emailed their customer service email and waited for days to speak with someone and nothing was resolved and I was passed on and on and told to just write to customer service.

Even one of the employees on my way out of the store made a comment about how she too is sick of dealing with angry customers due to this policy.

I want and expect a full refund. Do the right thing. It is by no means the right thing by not informing your customer of such an unusual policy.
