Housed in a former women's club, the Harvard Exit Theatre was founded by a pair of eccentric film buffs. The elegant lobby recalls the glamour of days gone by. The theater can be relied upon to run critically acclaimed films almost exclusively. It is also one of the venues for the Seattle International Film Festival , an annual event that gains in prestige with each passing year.
