Know Before You Go: Numerous classes are open to amateur chefs. Prices depend on the number of classes in the lesson package, and average about $650 for five lessons. Register online for complete information.

The prix fixe menus are more reasonable than at most of the city's other fine French restaurants. While a three-course lunch costs $28, both four-course and five-course dinner menus are $42.

More than 60 chef instructors and their students create three- and four-course menus with a distinct French flavor. Dishes have included fondue and smoked scallops in a butternut squash purée. However, offerings change seasonally, so guests may return for a whole new experience.
