Leiser's Rentals

Before you even read this review let just start with this. Don't bother going here for anything Rob Leiser could care less about his business, equipment upkeep and even lesser about his customers. it is a good thing he is retiring because that might be the only way this business survives but I'm sure it will be closed sooner that later. Anyway, I went here to rent a dingo, aka mini skid steer, because my other two places that I use didn't have one available for the day I needed. So I get there, they start the paperwork which starts the clock on your time so by the time you leave you have already lost 30min. Not to mention I live an additional 35min away. So I get it unloaded and was able to use it for about 3 1/2hr, but due to us trying to perform multiple task this day I had to wait for my truck to return home then unload it so we could load the Dingo back; as I did not plan on returning it till the next morning at 8am. I get the dingo back to Leiser they want to unload first then do paperwork as this keeps the clock running. Paperwork states I had the unit for just over 6hr even though I had intended on keeping it for the full 24hrs 8am to 8am, obviously didn't happen. When doing paperwork Mark charged me for the full day just over 210 dollars which I agreed to as he told me I would be able to get the dingo again for free for a full day due to the troubles I had with it, seems far to me. I called in the next week and was told the dingo was fixed so I reserved it for the 5th of July. Went to get the unit get the trailer hooked up they go to load it on the trailer and I noticed it was still leaking from the same location it was before so at this point I got frustrated as I did not want to take it home and not be able to finish my project yet again. So I asked for a refund now I am dealing with Sue which is just as rude as Rob. Rob comes out of his start arguing with me about how people misuse his equipment and that it's not meant for digging which he is correct however he didn't even bother to ask me what I was using it for. So I inform him that I was using it to move lose dirt and sand from my driveway to my yard. By the way, this is exactly what this equipment is best at...getting through a 4ft gate. Anyways after our small back and forth he just said "whatever give him (Me) a partial refund" so I paid just over $210 for 24hr but only had it for just over 6hr and they figured a $53 refund was sufficient. I did not entirely agree but was getting more and more p@!%!d as I was wasting more and more of my time so I grabbed the money and left, didn't count it. Went to the store later and realized that Sue shorted me $20. Called them the next day and was told I would need to talk to Sue and she works Tuesday thru Friday so I go in Tuesday at 4:05pm and she is not there. Got busy on Wednesday didn't have time to contact them. Called on Thursday and Sue told me I can't prove she didn't give me the money and hung up the phone. Called back Rob Leiser answer told me he was not going to give me anything and that he was done with me he even called the police to ensure I would not return to his property. Again to sum it up DO NOT GO HERE. You can find better equipment and customers service at Home Depot, ORE or Drakes tool rental LEISER'S RENTAL BARN does not deserve your business.
