Description

Lerchs Barnlot started in 1976 after 11 years of operating as Highland Farmers Exchange. Ed Lerch purchased Highland Farmers Exchange from Chance Ringer.After Purchasing acreage along State Route 73 adjacent to the family farm in 1975, Ed moved the business to the present location in 1976, Ed continued to operate the business until 2000 when he sold it to his son Mark and his wife.Lerchs Barnlot has grown from offering livestock shelters and feeders in the 60s, 70s, and 80s to a much larger variety today. Todays offerings still has livestock shelters and feeders, but has expanded into fencing, lumber, firewood, landscaping materials, and much more.Currently, Lerchs has 8-10 employees. Lerchs offer many items need on large or small acreages, hobby or professional farmers, and materials for the do-it-yourselfers and professional contracts.
