Worst Restaurant Experience Ever:
Had the worst customer service experience at this restaurant tonight! My husband and I ended up walking out (and I have NEVER done that before).
Bottom line, new waitress forgot to put our ticket in and really forgot to attend to us. Placed our orders and received our soup and salads about 30 mins. later after flagging down the waitress. The two tables next to us who sat down at the same time and one 20 mins. after us had already received their meal and the other their soups and salads. We asked about our dinner as well and the waitress had "the look" (oops, I forgot to put in your order)... so while we were eating our soup and salads, she comes back out and let me know that they were out of the baked cod and asked what else I would like. Let me remind you this is already 30 mins. after we placed our order! So I settle for the substitution and asked to speak to the owner (after the waitress suggested it). Owner came out with minimal apology and stated that they had run out of the baked cod because they were busier than they expected on a Friday night in Wisconsin during lent... duh! She offers to cover our drinks, a soda and a water (really???) And tells us that they are plating our meal right as we were speaking and she would personally bring out our meals. So while waiting, the table next to us who sat down at the same time as us was done eating, paid and left. And the table to arrived 20 minutes after us was now getting their dinners delivered to their table... and guess what they ordered??? THE BAKED COD!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband was done at that point so we got up and walked out after over an hour and still not receiving our dinner. AND really, no apology!
We will never go back to this restaurant and will continue to tell everyone we know how horrible it was!
