This Salon -- as unprofessional as it gets!:
This is going to be long but worth the read to understand how unprofessional and disgusting this salon and its owner is! They are unprofessional, uncaring, rude, tactless --- and this all points to the owner, Rachel.
I’ve had more than one horrible experience with them.
My first experience was about 2 years ago. I was in the middle of recovering from breast cancer surgery and was horribly sick from my medication … but needed to get my hair blown out so I wouldn’t have to think about it for a while. I was doubled over in pain and the owner nor her staff batted an eyelid or as much as asked me if I was okay.
Don’t ask me why I went back but I did about 2 years later. I called on a Saturday to make an appointment and was told none were available but someone would call me back. No one did, so I called back only to be told, “Didn’t I tell you someone was going to call you back?” I decided not to retaliate since the person on the phone sounded young. I chalked it up to inexperience.
A few days later I called back (since no one ever returned my call) and made an appointment for a Thursday evening at 6pm. A few minutes after making the appointment I called to see if the appointment could be moved to 5pm. No one answered the phone so I left a message. The next day no one called me back (AGAIN!) so I called them back but was told the 5pm slot was full. I was fine with this. Later on they called me to see if I would be able to make the 5 pm appointment, but I told them I wouldn’t because I now had a work meeting to attend.
I left for my 6pm appointment that day, arriving in the area at 6 pm. I didn’t make it into the salon until 6:15 because they have no parking spots and I kept circling trying to find one. When I got to the door, it was locked. I called and someone let me in.
A few minutes later Rachel, the owner, walks down the stairs declaring that she couldn’t do my hair because I was late. I said but I tried to get an earlier appointment and you guys said it wasn’t available. She said, “yes, I know there was a mixup but I still can’t do your hair.” I said, “I was actually here on time but it took me 15 minutes to find a parking spot.” She said, “well, I still can’t do your hair.”
I walked out, promising to never return to which this savvy and professional (note my sarcasm) business woman responded “ok” with all the nonchalance she could muster.
To reiterate, this is the most unprofessional hair salon I’ve ever been to in my ENTIRE life. The owner is as rude as they come, as fake as they come, and has no care for or interest in the well-being of any of her customers.

PLEASE save your money & hair -- AVOID THIS PLACE !!!:
OMG -- Why did I not LISTEN to the first reviewer on this site AND AVOID GOING TO THIS SALON in order to get a keratin-treatment done on my hair ?!?!?!?!?
Their review seemed so extreme that I honestly thought they were exaggerating.
Not only were they NOT exaggerating -- they were UNDERSTATING just how totally unprofessional and incompetent this salon actually is.
NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER will I EVER return to this horrific place.
These people are without doubt the most UNPROFESSIONAL and INCOMPETENT (not to mention uncaring and ghetto-mentality) group of hair "stylists" that I have ever met.
The woman named Erycka is just about the most unprofessional, bullying, intimidating and ghetto-behaving person that I have ever encountered in my life (even to the point of seeming to control the one named Rachel -- who owns the salon).
When I went to the salon for a consultation, Rachel seemed VERY interested in getting me to select their salon for my keratin-treatment and continued to show me her very long hair as an example of how well she knew the treatment.
What I should have paid attention to is the fact that -- despite the fact of Rachel’s claims that her salon used a particular brand for of the keratin treatment – the bully named Erycka (who is the one who applied the treatment to your hair) -- did NOT even know the name of the product that was being applied and when I noted the product mentioned by Rachel in my consultation, Erycka claimed not only did the salon NOT use that product but also that she had never even heard of any such product (in spite of the fact that it is one of the most popular keratin treatments found in the world).
Rachel was the one who “consulted” with me and promised to do my hair – but when I arrived to the salon I was told that Erycka was going to take the first step of “washing” my hair.
But what actually happened was that Erycka (who I later discovered is NOT a licensed cosmetologist) is the one who does ALL of the steps – then she takes you to another area of the salon to meet with Rachel.
The two of them then blow-dried my hair (to get rid of the “afro” puff that Erycka had created with her metal pick) – and just like the other reviewer said – the blow drying brush they used was NOT clean (as evidenced by the hair being found in it to have been a completely different color than that of my own).
Once the blow drying was done Rachel allowed Erycka to help her flat iron my hair (and again, just like that other person said) they do NOT use the correct flat-irons needed in order to make sure the product properly adheres to the hair (the irons they INSISTED on using were the manually-heated irons – meaning both women were ironing my hair at random temperatures).
Throughout the entire process the woman named Erycka behaved in such an intimidating (and dare I even say, “ghetto”) fashion that I felt like I was being threatened by someone from a street gang or something – anytime I would dare ask any type of question about the process or my hair (or even why the methods used by their salon is so radically different from that of any other salon known for doing keratin treatments).
Well – the end results showed me that I should have simply listed to that first reviewer and avoided this salon like the plague.
After waiting the correct amount of time to see how the process took to my hair I found that my hair was / is now lopsided (even though I did not have it cut) due to the fact that one half of it is puffy and frizzy and the other have it even puffier and frizzier AND (due to the uneven texture) I now also have extreme breakage (which I did not have before).
When I contacted them to let them know of my results, Rachel offered to let me come back to the salon to take a look at my hair and consider re-doing it – but when I arrived, this Erycka person literally followed me all over the salon with her hands on her hips looking very angry and glaring at me the entire time.
And on top of everything else, Rachel refused to re-do the hair (saying something to the effect that I should have let her know THAT day if I liked the treatment of nor – in spite of the fact that she tells you to NOT wash, etc. your hair for days afterward so you have no idea if treatment even took effect until then) – and she, instead, tried to get me to schedule future appointments for additional flati-ironing and conditioning treatments.
Never in my life have I paid so much to see such horrible results on my hair.
My hair has NEVER looked so awful in my entire life and I am still wondering if I will EVER be able to restore it to it’s former glory.
Part of me feels as though I am as much to blame as anyone – because, even though I read the one review on this site that WARNED me of what I would encounter at this salon – I honestly thought that person was exaggerating.
As I stated earlier – I now feel that they were downplaying just how AWFUL this horrific salon actually is.
NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN will my shadow grace the doorway of the Lights, Camera, Action salon or any group of people who are as horrifically unprofessional and incompetent as those I dealt with at my one (and ONLY) visit to that place.
