I've been going to Linden for about 15 years now, and the only reason is because I'm too lazy to find another place. They have at least 10 different optometrists working and I've never seen the same person twice. Each of them has come up with the same prescription for my eyeglasses, but they all have come up with some other diagnoses about whether or not I have some other health-related problem by looking at other features in my eyes. I have no idea if any of them are correct.

In every case where I have been there, I've had an appointment. I show up 15 minutes before my appointment, and they still have me fill out paperwork which I'm 99% sure is still in their computers. Then I usually wait about 20 minutes past my appointment time before I see someone, and then my visit involves two people - a pre-visit with someone who does basic glaucoma tests and eye exam with a computer, then the optometrist. In all, I end up staying there about 1.5 to 2 hours each time.

On the plus side, if you have VSP insurance they will take care of everything for you. But be prepared to wait.
