horrible school:
You will regret your decision to go to school here the moment you realize what it's all about. The owner treats her students so bad. She uses the fact that she's a Christian to belittle her students and put them down and as soon as you get confident in yourself she is sure to make you feel horrible about your work. She calls students out in front of clients which is not only frustrating, but makes the client feel uneasy and question the students ability. If you're in this business to do perms and roller sets the rest of your life, Linda's school of beauty is the place for you. But if you want to learn up to date hairstyles, cuts, and color you will be highly disappointed to learn that you will not be taught anything up to date or anything about color, other than the color wheel which is in your book, by your teachers. If I had known when I started that all the students there who knew anything about color had taught themselves what they knew, I would not have gone. My teacher told me herself "I do not like color, and so therefore you won't learn much about color" and every time I got a client who wanted highlights the teachers MADE me pull it through a cap because its "faster" so I never got the chance to actually work on my foiling techniques unless I was working on my mannequin. Which btw, you never get the chance to work on your mannequin. It's a school run more like a business and the business comes first. Mrs Linda Mac couldn't care less if you're being kept up to date as long as she's getting money in her pocket. You get what you pay for I guess. if you're into perms and roller sets and can put up with someone's c@!%!y attitude, this is exactly where you need to be.

My Hair's Never Looked So Good!:
I've had a mani/pedi and a color/cut there. The mani/pedi was a much better job than I could for myself and well worth the price. The color was initially not what I had requested (dark brown with a few highlights); but I have since come to really love what they did. A few places on the hairline were missed the first time and some gray was showing; but I went back and had this fixed. I will definitely go back and I have had more complements on my hair than EVER in my life. Still looking great weeks later. Highly recommended.
