The Lobster Pot is an eat-in-the-rough favorite where seafood is so fresh, it must be plucked straight out of local Cape Cod waters. The spacious dining room is noticeably clean and pleasant, with big wooden booths and fun fisherman decor.
It all started in 1908 when a fisherman came to America to fish the waters off New England. He bought an old wooden U.S. Navy boat, crafted it into a fishing vessel, and fished with his sons.
He named the fishing boat "The Santa Lucia" which is still fishing in the port of Gloucester.
