Loggerhead Marinelife Center Mission:
To promote the conservation of Florida’s coastal ecosystem through education, research, and rehabilitation, with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles.

This center is a non-profit facility and a great for place for education, preservation and monitoring of one of the world's most active sea turtle nesting grounds. The center acts as a school, providing internships, tours and programs. Plus the park's amenities include a guarded beach, nature trails and picnic areas, but the main attractions are the leatherback sea turtles.
