Lone Star BBQ catered a party in my backyard, it was perfect! The food arrived in plenty of time, the setup was flawless, the staff was friendly and organized and the food was outstanding!! I would highly reccomend this place for anyone wanting a fun, carefree party and AMAZING food!!

I do think it may be the best in the world!!! I have tried many types of smoked beef ... in many different areas in the world....and I must say this may be the best in the World!!! Although the actual restaurant is pretty small, the delicious homemade food is Big on taste!! I have joined the Real Deal BBQ Club and I am hooked on this food!!

I ordered the combo plate. Too much food for one meal but I never complain about that! (The leftovers were just as good as the fresh meal!) Brisket is tender and the chicken was nice and juicy, not dry. My friend got the pork sandwich and he loved it.
I liked the fact that for a hole in the wall place, it was very clean and the staff was really friendly- which is refreshing in this day and age where customer service is a thing of the past. Everyone who's been looking for good BBQ, search no further! It's right here in Oceanside!!!
